Jason Peter

Jason Peter, co-host of “The Spread” was a Member of Three Nebraska National Championship teams (1994, 1995, 1997) and earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in 1996 & 1997 while playing for the Huskers.

Jason was a First Team All-American in 1997, and was also a finalist for the Outland Trophy and Defensive Player of the Year Award. That year, Jason was one of the captains his senior year in 1997 as well.

After his Senior Season at Nebraska, Jason was a First Round Pick (14th Overall) of the Carolina Panthers in the 1998 NFL Draft and was selected to the All-Rookie Team.

In 2008, Jason’s autobiography “Hero Of The Underground” debuted to mass critical acclaim and appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list.
